I believe the last leg will be 5, because it should be a 3,4,5 triangle

you are making it bigger, and so you must multiply 3 to each side (dilate means to become wider)
3 x 3 = 9
4 x 3 = 12
5 x 3 = 15

9, 12, 15 are you triangle side lengths

To find perimeter, add them together

15 + 12 = 27
27 + 9 = 36

Your perimeter is 36

hope this helps

The sum of three consecutive numbers is 60. What are these three numbers?
Lena [83]

Answer:

The numbers are 19,20 and 21

Step-by-step explanation:

Let

x -----> the first consecutive number

x+1 ---> the second consecutive number

x+2 --> the third consecutive number

we know that

x+(x+1)+(x+2)=60

Solve for x

3x+3=60

3x=57

x=19

so

x+1=19+1=20

x+2=19+2=21

therefore

The numbers are 19,20 and 21
