Answer: option (2)

Explanation:

Relative dating is the efficient method that helps in determining events that has taken place in the past and also helps in identifying the older and the younger rocks. The events that are determined using this method, can clearly mark the boundary between the rocks of two distinct ages. It does not provide the exact age of an object or a fossil, thereby being its limitation but it gives the overall stratigraphy of the area.

Thus the correct answer is option (2)

Hey, do you think you can help me with these questions? I'll give some extra points(can give more if needed)

Answer:

1. Both neutron stars and black holes are the corpses of stars that died in explosions known as supernovas. Black holes form when the most massive stars die and neutron stars form when stars not as large die. They both have a very strong gravitational pull, but a black hole's pull is stronger than a neutron star. Neutron stars will turn into black holes if the force of gravity breaks the resistance of electrons.

2. White dwarfs are degenerate, which means they can compress matter. The material in a white dwarf no longer undergoes fusion reactions, so it is supported only by electron degeneracy pressure. This causes it to be extremely dense, saving space and energy.

3. A light year is the distance light travels in a year while an astronomical unit is the average distance between the earth and the sun.

4. A convection zone transfers energy by radiation and conduction.

vlada-n [284]
The appropriate response of the nurse manager is to reprimand the nurse providing the colostomy care to a client without PPE because of the risk of transmitting nosocomial infections and maintaining hospital hygiene. The use of personal protective equipment should always be imposed in doing potentially infectious work, especially in the hospital.

Are gender traits completley a result of societal expectatcions ?
Romashka [77]
Typically gender expression is heavily influenced by societal norms, but there are some traits that have been proven to be influenced my genetic makeup of males vs females. For example, girls tend to be drawn to more artistic expression because of the cone/rod ratio of their eyes, where as males have better perception of depth and speed, so they gravitate towards faster sports and race cars. Obviously this only has partial influence. Individuals have always ventured outside gender roles and norms. Some men express are in touch with their femininity and express it despite the stigma, and some women have more ‘male inclined’ personality traits. Of course, large political, philosophical, and religious movements have more impact, such as the feminist movement in the late 1960s-70s pushing females to act less in the traditional frame.

Bacteria provide genetic engineers with __ and __
exis [7]

Answer:

Bacteria provide genetic engineers with _vector_ and _host_.

Explanation:

Vector are vehicles or carriers which are used to carry the gene of interest. They are usually plasmids which are bacterial circular genome which can replicate independently.

Hence bacterial plasmids are used for the insertion of gene of interest and its transfer to the host cell.

As plasmids is taken from the bacteria, so mostly bacteria is used as the host for the gene of interest.
