Questions 1-3 you have to multiply the whole number that many times of that power that is given.
Question 1. 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 =16
Question 2. 3 x 3 x 3 = 27
Question 3. 10 x 10 =100
Question 4.  Braces
Question 5. 4+3 x 5 First you are going to multiply 3 x 5 =15. Second you add 15 + 4 = 19. Answer = 19. First you perform multiplying.
Question 6. You first add the 9+7=16 then divided that by 2 and you get 8. First you perform addition.
Question 7. First you have to do parentheses 12+6 =18 then divided 18 by 6 and you get 3. First you perform the parentheses.
Question 8. 8(11-6) First you subtract what is in the parentheses and you get 5 then you multiply 8 x 5 = 40. The last thing you perform in the multiplying.
Question 9. First you do the exponents. 4 x 4 =16 then 16 + 3 =19. The last thing you perform in the addition. Answer 19.
Question 10. First Subtract 5-3= 2 then you do 10 divided by 2 = 5. The last thing you perform is dividing. Answer 5.
Question 11. 8+7 x 4 First you multiply 7 and 4 = 28 then 28 + 8 = 36. Answer 36.
Question 12.  10-3+6-2 =7+6-2=13-2=11.  Answer 11.
Question 13. 6+8 divided by 2. First add 6+8=14 divided by 2 = 7. Answer 7.
Question 14. You would have to do the distributive property. 6 x 14 = 84. Then multiply 6 x 1 = 6. Then subtract 84-6 =78. Answer 78.
Question 15. First subtract 6-2=3. Then do 3 x 3 =9. Next add 1 +7 =8. Then multiply 9 x 8 = 72. Answer 72.
Question 16. First subtract 18-6=12. Then 12 divided by 3 = 4. Answer 4.
Question 17.First you do exponents 3 x 3 = 9. Then add 16 + 9 = 25. Answer 25.
Question 18. First you do exponents 6 x 6 = 36. Then subtract 40 - 36 =4. Next add 4 + 7 = 11. Answer 11.
Question 19. First you do exponents 2 x 2 = 4. Then divided 24 by 4 = 6. Answer 6.
Question 20.  First you do exponents 10 x 10 x 10 = 1000. 10 x 10 =100. 10 x 1 = 10.  Next step is to multiply. 5 x 1000 = 5000 and multiply 3 x 10 = 30. Then the rest is addition. 5000+ 8+100+30+7 =5145. Answer 5145.

Sorry but I don't know about the last 2 question on the worksheet  I hope this helped a lot.

Determine the equations of the vertical and horizontal asymptotes, if any, for g(x)=x-2/x^2+4x+3
KatRina [158]

Answer:

<h2>B. x = -1, x = -3, y = 0</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

g(x)=\dfrac{x-2}{x^2+4x+3}\\\\vertical\ asymptote:\\\\x^2+4x+3=0\\x^2+x+3x+3=0\\x(x+1)+3(x+1)=0\\(x+1)(x+3)=0\iff x+1=0\ \vee\ x+3=0\\\\\boxed{x=-1\ \vee\ x=-3}\\\\horizontal\ asymptote:\\\\\lim\limits_{x\to\pm\infty}\dfrac{x-2}{x^2+4x+3}=\lim\limits_{x\to\pm\infty}\dfrac{x^2\left(\frac{1}{x}-\frac{2}{x^2}\right)}{x^2\left(1+\frac{4}{x}+\frac{3}{x^2}\right)}=\lim\limits_{x\to\pm\infty}\dfrac{\frac{1}{x}-\frac{2}{x^2}}{1+\frac{4}{x}+\frac{3}{x^2}}=\dfrac{0}{1}=0\\\\\boxed{y=0}
