3 0

First you would take 1 2/3 and multiply the 3 times 1 which is 3 plus 2 which makes it 5 now it is 5/3 now do the same for the other one and it is 21/4 now multiply the product of that is 105/12 now as a mixed number it is 8 9/12 because you divide 105 by 12 :) happy to help so the final answer is 8 9/12

3k of cinnamon
1g of gummies

Irene $39
3k of cinnamon
3k of gummies

c= cost of 1 kilogram of cinnamon
g= cost of 1 kilogram of gummies

Erika's Equation
3c + 1g= $21

Irene's Equation
3c + 3g= $39

Solve for one variable in equation one and substitute it in the other equation.

3c + 1g= 21
subtract 3c from both sides
g= 21 - 3c

Substitute g=21 - 3c in equation
3c + 3g= $39
3c + 3 (21 - 3c)= 39
multiply all in parentheses
3c + 63 - 9c= 39
63 - 6c= 39
subtract 63 from both sides
-6c= -24
c= $4

Substitute c=4 in equation to find g
3c + g= 21
3(4) + g= 21
12 + g= 21
subtract 12 from both sides
g= $9

ANSWER: The price of 1 kilogram of cinnamon red hots is $4. The cost of 1 kilogram of gummies is $9.

Hope this helps! :)

How does the graph of g(x) = (x - 3)^3 + 4 compare to the parent function f(x)=x^3 ?
masha68 [24]

Answer:

f(x) has moved:

4 units in the positive y direction i.e upwards

3 units in the positive x direction

Step-by-step explanation:

to get g(x), f(x) has undergone the following transformations

f(x) = x³

f1(x) = x³ + 4      (translation of 4 units in the positive y direction i.e upwards)

f2(x) = g(x)  = (x-3)³ + 4 (translation of 3 units in the positive x direction i.e towards the right)
