More Efficient Production Inventions like the steam engine helped to streamline production of many goods. This reduced the time

and labor that was involved in creating the things that people needed everyday. 2. Cheaper Prices Along with making production processes more efficient, the Industrial Revolution also resulted in dramatically lower prices for goods. This was due to the shortened amount of time needed to produce goods, as well as the costs saved for labor. 3. Major Increase In Job Opportunities Factories began to pop up everywhere during this time, which needed employees to run and manage them. This created tremendous job growth and also provided the opportunity for new products and inventions to be designed and produced. 4. Spectacular Motivation, Changing The World With all of the new and innovative things that began to emerge out of this time period, people became more motivated and educated than over. This spurred a large amount of useful inventions that are still widely used and pertinent in today’s modern world. Some of this include the light bulb, the telephone, and X-rays. 5. This made the amount of farmed foods scarce for a long period of time. 2. The Beginning of Pollution Before all of the factories came about during the revolution, there was no major sources of pollution to the water and air in the world. The pollution never stopped after this time and continues to contaminate our air, land, and water. 3. Working Conditions In Factories Factories quickly became all about profit. The working conditions for the large amount of people working these factories where extremely poor. They where forced to work extremely long hours with few breaks and little pay in order to maximize profits. This resulted in stress related illnesses, the spread of disease, and death through out the factories. Important Facts About The Industrial Revolution The Industrial Revolution began in Britain. One of the biggest inventions of this time was the assembly line. Many of the earth’s natural resources where being used at a very high rate during this time in history. The Luddites where groups of people that where opposed to the technological changes during the Industrial Revolution. Some third world countries in places like Africa, have yet to experience an Industrial Revolution. The economic system, Capitalism, was created during this time. The steam engine, light bulb, telegraph, X- ray, telephone, calculator, and anesthesia where all invented during

Suppose the base of the prism was a rectangle of sides I and w. Type a formula for the volume of the prism using i, w and h
tester [92]

Answer: V = l  w  h

Step-by-step explanation:

Hi, to answer this question we have to apply the formula for the volume of a rectangular prism.

Volume of a rectangular prism (V) = Length x Width x Height

Replacing with the values given:

V = l w h

All values are multiplied (didn’t use x as a multiplication symbol to avoid confusion)

Feel free to ask for more if needed or if you did not understand something.

11. Little Sally Walker has a choice between going to an in-state college where she would pay
nalin [4]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Lets calculate first for in state college

yearly tuition fees = $3,500

monthly living expense = $700

one year has 12 months so yearly living expense =$700 * 12 = $8,400

Yearly expense of the in state college = yearly tuition fees ($3,500 )+ yearly living expense($8,400)   = $3,500 + $8,400  = $11,900

____________________________________________________

Lets calculate first for  out of state college

yearly tuition fees = $6,000

monthly living expense = $400

one year has 12 months so yearly living expense =$400 * 12 = $4,800

Yearly expense of the out of state college = yearly tuition fees ($3,500 )+ yearly living expense($8,400)   = $6,000 + $4,800  = $10,800

Find out if the lengths form a right triangle
Mila [183]

Answer:

The triangle is a right triangle.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since The Pythagorean Theorem only works on right triangles, we can use this knowledge to prove whether this triangle is right:

a^2 + b^2 = c^2\\10^2 + (2\sqrt{39})^2 = 16^2\\100 + (4 \times 39) = 256\\100 + 156 = 256\\256 = 256

Therefore, the triangle is right.
