More Efficient Production Inventions like the steam engine helped to streamline production of many goods. This reduced the time

and labor that was involved in creating the things that people needed everyday. 2. Cheaper Prices Along with making production processes more efficient, the Industrial Revolution also resulted in dramatically lower prices for goods. This was due to the shortened amount of time needed to produce goods, as well as the costs saved for labor. 3. Major Increase In Job Opportunities Factories began to pop up everywhere during this time, which needed employees to run and manage them. This created tremendous job growth and also provided the opportunity for new products and inventions to be designed and produced. 4. Spectacular Motivation, Changing The World With all of the new and innovative things that began to emerge out of this time period, people became more motivated and educated than over. This spurred a large amount of useful inventions that are still widely used and pertinent in today’s modern world. Some of this include the light bulb, the telephone, and X-rays. 5. Improved Quality of Life All of the modern inventions and the amount of wealth that was brought into the cities greatly improved the way that people lived. Health care, education, appearance, and nutrition all began to get much more attention than previously. The Cons of The Industrial Revolution 1. A Loss Of Farming There was much more money to be made in the cities than in the rural farming areas. This caused many people to abandon their farms and move to the industrial centers. This made the amount of farmed foods scarce for a long period of time. 2. The Beginning of Pollution Before all of the factories came about during the revolution, there was no major sources of pollution to the water and air in the world. The pollution never stopped after this time and continues to contaminate our air, land, and water. 3. Working Conditions In Factories Factories quickly became all about profit. The working conditions for the large amount of people working these factories where extremely poor. They where forced to work extremely long hours with few breaks and little pay in order to maximize profits. This resulted in stress related illnesses, the spread of disease, and death through out the factories. Important Facts About The Industrial Revolution The Industrial Revolution began in Britain. One of the biggest inventions of this time was the assembly line. Many of the earth’s natural resources where being used at a very high rate during this time in history. The Luddites where groups of people that where opposed to the technological changes during the Industrial Revolution. Some third world countries in places like Africa, have yet to experience an Industrial Revolution. The economic system, Capitalism, was created during this time. The steam engine, light bulb, telegraph, X- ray, telephone, calculator, and anesthesia where all invented during

A fair coin is flipped 10 times. What is the probability that exactly 4 of the 10 flips come up heads
kifflom [539]

105/2^9

Step-by-step explanation:

The probability of getting a head in a single toss

p=12

The probability of not getting a head in a single toss

q=1−12=12

Now, using Binomial theorem of probability,

The probability of getting exactly r=4 heads in total n=10 tosses

=10C4(1/2)4(1/2)10−4

=10×9×8×7/4! 1/2^4 1/2^6

=2^44⋅9⋅35/24(2^10)

=105/2^9

A glass cylinder is completely filled with 24x^5y^8 cubic inches of salt solution. The jug has a base area of 4x^5 square inches
xz_007 [3.2K]
We know that

volume of a cylinder=area of the base*height
area of the base=4x^5 in²
height=24x^5y^8/ 4x^5 in
volume=24x^5y^8 in³

height=24x^5y^8/ 4x^5 ------> (24/4)*(x^5/x^5)*(y^8)------> (6)*(1)*(y^8)-----> 6y^8

the answer is
B: 6y^8

Sam is driving home from college. He is 220 miles away from home. If he can make it home in 4 hours, at what speed or velocity i
yan [13]
Answer: 55 miles per hour

Explanation: that hint is really useful
So if distance = velocity x time
That means 220 = v x 4 hours
To find v, divided 220 by 4
220 divided by 4 = 55
But I have a question:
Is he driving at a constant speed?
and is this 6th grade math? I’m in that grade but you can trust my answer
If im wrong, someone pls correct me
If im right, mark me brainliest pls, im broke, i have no points-
Goodluck!
