Answer:

A) f(x) = 6x + 14

Step-by-step explanation:

6(1) + 14 = 20

6 + 14 = 20

6(1.5) + 14 = 23

9 + 14 = 23

6(2) + 14 = 26

12 + 14 = 26

and so on...

Calculate the vertex of the parabola using the equation
Please helppp meee :((
koban [17]

FACTOR ALL OF THE EQUATIONS INTO "y = (x-h)^2 + k," AND THE EQUATION'S VERTEX IS (h,k)

10. y = (x+2)^2 - 11 --> (-2, -11)

11. y = -(x-4)^2 + 32 --> (4, 32)

12. y = 3(x-1)^2 - 5 --> (1, -5)

13. y = -2(x+2)^2 + 5 --> (-2, 5)

14. y = 2(x+1)^2 - 1 --> (-1, -1)

15. y = -5(x-1)^2 + 8 --> (1, 8)

16. y = 3(x-3)^2 - 26 --> (3, -26)

17. y = (x+5)^2 - 32 --> (-5, -32)

18. y = -(x-3)^2 + 10 --> (3, -10)

Rudi bought 12.5 yards of fabric to make pillows. Each pillow requires 1.75 yards of fabric. Use compatible numbers to estimate
Ipatiy [6.2K]
Hi there!

Using compatible numbers it would be:

12 ÷ 2 = 6.

Now when you divide it, the answer would be close to 6.

So, 12 ÷ 2 = 6 would be using compatible numbers.

Hope this helps ;)

What is the surface area of this rectangular pyramid?
Alexxx [7]

Answer:

304m^2

Step-by-step explanation:

First find the surface area of the base by multiplying the length by the width.

(12m) (8m)= 96m^2

Second, find the surface area of the front and back triangles using the formula 1/2 (base) (height). Use the length for the base.

1/2 (12m) (10m)= 60m^2

Next, find the surface area of the side triangles using the formula 1/2 (base) (height). Use the width as the base.

1/2 (8m) (11m)= 44m^2

Last, add the surface area of each section. Make sure you add the area of each face.(we only solved for 1 of the front/ back triangles and 1 of the side triangles) To make it easier to understand I wrote out an equation to show how I added the surface areas.

base=a, front/ back triangles= b, side triangles=c

SA= a + 2b +2c or SA= a +b +b +c +c

Using one of the equations above solve for the total surface area.

SA= (96m^2) + (60m^2) +(60m^2) +(44m^2) +(44m^2)

or

SA= (96m^2) + 2(60m^2) +2(44m^2)

SA= (96m^2) +(120m^2) +(88m^2)

SA= 304m^2

Alexis has a rectangular piece of red paper that is 4 centimeters wide. it's length is twice it's width. she glues a rectangular
Sergio039 [100]
The area of the red piece of paper is A= 4(2*4)= 4*8= 32 in^2.
The area of the blue piece of paper is A= 3*7=21 in^2. You subtract 21 from 32 and the difference is 11. So 11in^2 is visible.
