We don't even get a menu?  Man.

Transformations that are rigid motions are also called isometries.  They preserve size and shape.

Rigid Motions:

Translation

Rotation

Reflection

There's often another one called a

Glide Reflection

which is a combination of translation and reflection.

Not Rigid Motions:

Dilation

Obviously dilations change the size.  There are also transformations that distort the figure, for example scaling the coordinates differently.  Let's call them:

Stretching

Shearing

Please answer this correctly without making mistakes
fgiga [73]

Answer:

47.55 miles

Step-by-step explanation:

So for this problem you would just add the distance between the art store and the bank to the distance from the bank to the office supply store, which is 42 miles. Than you would use the Pythagorean Theorem so you would do 42^{2} +22.3^{2} and that should equal the square of our answers. 42^{2} is 1764 and 22.3^{2} is 497.29 and when you add them together you get 2,261.29. Now that we know the square of our answer we will just take the square root of it which is 47.55 miles and that is our final answer

possible

Step-by-step explanation:

the question asks what is the likelyhood of making a free throw 70% of the time, whcih is possible beacuase you can make it, you can also miss it. there are several professional basketball players that have that percentage. but it is not likely that someone could just shoot 70 percent. so i would stick with possible
