Please help! I will give brainiest answer!
Over [174]

Answer:

D

Explanation:

The vehicles have the same amount of kinetic energy because they are travelling at the same speed. There is a great difference in their masses but their speed is same. Kinetic energy of a body depends on both mass and velocity. If the mass of an object increases, its kinetic energy also increases and vice versa while on the other hand, if we doubles the speed of an object its kinetic energy increases four times so we can conclude that objects having same speed leads to same kinetic energy.

The majority of water reabsorption from the filtrate occurs in the _____ ____ ______.
const2013 [10]

The majority of water reabsorption from the filtrate occurs in the proximal convoluted tubule (PCT).

Further Explanation:

The nephron is the functional unit of the kidney which plays key role in the removal of waste product from the body. Nephron consists of glomerulus and convoluted tubules.

Parts of the nephron:

1. Proximal convoluted tubule (PCT): It is the first part of nephron which is closer to the glomerulus. It consists of microvilli and various carrier protein which increases its surface area for reabsorption. This part is responsible for the reabsorption of sodium chloride, glucose, water, amino acid, bicarbonate etc.

2. Henle loop: This is present after PCT. As it forms loop like structure therefore it is named so. It consist of ascending loop and descending loop. This part is responsible for the reabsorption of water, sodium and chloride.

3. Distal convoluted tubule: It is the last part of the nephron which empties its filtrate into the collecting duct. This part is responsible for the reabsorption sodium and chloride.
