You need to solve the following equation:
-0.5x^2 +36x -161 = 451

Set right side to 0
-0.5x^2 +36x -612 = 0

Multiply by -2 to get rid of decimal and leading neg coefficient.
x^2 -72x + 1224 = 0

Use quadratic formula:
a = 1, b = -72, c = 1224

x = \frac{-(-72) \pm \sqrt{(-72)^2 -4(1)(1224)}}{2(1)} \\  \\ x = \frac{72 \pm \sqrt{288}}{2} \\  \\ x = 27.51, 44.49

Therefore the min price to have 451 profit is $27.51

Answer:

\large\boxed{\sin\dfrac{2\pi}{3}=\dfrac{\sqrt3}{2}}

Step-by-step explanation:

\sin\dfrac{2\pi}{3}=\sin\bigg(\pi-\dfrac{\pi}{3}\bigg)\\\\\text{use}\ \sin(x-y)=\sin x\cos y-\sin y\cos x\\\\=\sin\pi\cos\dfrac{\pi}{3}-\sin\dfrac{\pi}{3}\cos\pi\\\\\text{use the table from the attachment}\\\\\sin\pi=0\\\\\cos\dfrac{\pi}{3}=\dfrac{1}{2}\\\\\sin\dfrac{\pi}{3}=\dfrac{\sqrt3}{2}\\\\\cod\pi=-1\\\\\text{subtitute:}\\\\=(0)\left(\dfrac{1}{2}\right)-\left(\dfrac{\sqrt3}{2}\right)(-1)=\dfrac{\sqrt3}{2}

prealgebra.. please help... examples for each one are commutative property, associative property, additive identity property and
Vadim26 [7]

Step-by-step explanation:

Lets first understand what each of these properties are.

  • Commutative property - an operation is commutative if changing the order of the operands does not change the result
  • Associative property - an operation is associative if grouping the operands with parenthesis does not change the result
  • Additive identity property - this property says that when you add 0 to a real number, or add a real number to 0, the result is the same real number
  • Additive inverse property - the additive inverse of a number is the number required to add to make the result 0

Problem 1

This is an example of the additive inverse property because -2 + 2 = 0.

Problem 2

This is an example of the associative property because the numbers are grouped differently, but still equal each other.

Problem 3

This is an example of the commutative property because the numbers are arranged differently but still equal each other.

makvit [3.9K]
Simple.
100% of the student body is 160 + 80, which is 240.

160 is 66.7% of 240.
So 66.7% voted for a bulldog.

Hope this helps!
