Variable = cost per day = x

I'll do this question two ways

Harder Algebra way

6.48 ÷ 4 = x

multiply both sides by 4

6.48 = 4x

divide both sides by 4

1.62 = x

Easy non Algebra way

6.48 ÷ 4 = x
6.48 ÷ 4 = 1.62
so 1.62 = x

my equation is probably not how the teacher wants it but it's how I would do it so...

Brand managers become concerned if they discover that customers are aging and gradually moving out of the high-spending age grou
AlladinOne [14]

Answer:

We conclude that the Escalade buyers are younger on average than the typical Cadillac buyer.

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given that the average Cadillac buyer is older than 60, past the prime middle years that typically are associated with more spending.

A sample of 50 Escalade purchasers has average age 45 (with standard deviation 25).

Let \mu = <u><em>average age of an Escalade buyers.</em></u>

So, Null Hypothesis, H_0 : \mu \geq 60     {means that the Escalade buyers are are of equal age or older on average than the typical Cadillac buyer}

Alternate Hypothesis, H_A : \mu < 60     {means that the Escalade buyers are younger on average than the typical Cadillac buyer}

The test statistics that would be used here <u>One-sample t test statistics</u> as we don't know about the population standard deviation;

                             T.S. =  \frac{\bar X-\mu}{\frac{s}{\sqrt{n} } }  ~ t_n_-_1

where, \bar X = sample mean age of Escalade purchasers = 45

            s = sample standard deviation = 25

            n = sample of Escalade purchasers = 50

So, <u><em>the test statistics</em></u>  =  \frac{45-60}{\frac{25}{\sqrt{50} } }  ~ t_4_9

                                       =  -4.243

The value of t test statistics is -4.243.

<u>Now, at 0.05 significance level the t table gives critical value of -1.677 at 49 degree of freedom for left-tailed test.</u>

Since our test statistic is less than the critical value of t as -4.243 < -1.677, so we have sufficient evidence to reject our null hypothesis as it will fall in the rejection region due to which <u>we reject our null hypothesis</u>.

Therefore, we conclude that the Escalade buyers are younger on average than the typical Cadillac buyer.

Secants ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯ and ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯ intersect at point T in the interior of a circle. The measure of ∠ is 61.99°. The measure of ⏜ is
kiruha [24]

Answer:

PR = 53.18°

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

m<PTR = 61.99°

arc SQ = 70.80°

Required:

Measure of arc PR

Solution:

Based on the theorem of angles with vertex inside the circle and intercepted arcs, we would have the following equation:

m<PTR = ½(PR + SQ)

Plug in the values

61.99 = ½(PR + 70.80)

Multiply both sides by 2

2*61.99 = PR + 70.80

123.98 = PR + 70.80

123.98 - 70.80 = PR

53.18 = PR

PR = 53.18°

the pilot of a traffic helicopter sights an accident at an angle of depression of 18 degrees the helicopter's altitude is 1560 f
KIM [24]
The straight line distance from the helicopter to the accident is the hypotenuse of the right triangle when we connect all the three points. Solving for the horizontal distance, we make use of the equation,
                                  sin 18 = 1560 ft / horizontal distance
Solving the equation above, the horizontal distance is 5048.27 ft.

What is the difference?<br> X/x2+3x+2 - 1/(X+ 2)(x+1)
Anarel [89]

Answer:

D

Step-by-step explanation:

\[\frac{x}{x^{2} +3x+2} -\frac{1}{(x+2)(x+1)} =\frac{x}{x^2+3x+2} -\frac{1}{x(x+1)+2(x+1)} =\frac{x}{x^{2}+3x+2 } -\frac{1}{x^{2} +2x+x+2} =\frac{x}{x^{2} +3x+2} -\frac{1}{x^{2} +3x+2} =\frac{x-1}{x^{2} +3x+2} \]
