(2x-16)+(x-9) = 11

3x-25 = 11

3x = 11+25
3x = 36

36 / 3 = 12 = X

m to n = x-9

12-9 = 3

The distance between M and N is 3

Hope this helps! :)

olga2289 [7]

Answer:

Probability:  0.7190

There is not enough evidence at the 5% level of significance to suggest that there is difference in proportions of red-light runners between the two intersections

Step-by-step explanation:

We can conduct a hypothesis test for the difference of 2 proportions. If there is no difference in proportion of red-light runners between the 2 lights, then the difference in proportions will be zero. That makes the null hypothesis

H0: p1 - p2 = 0

The question is asking whether there is a difference, meaning that the difference can be higher or lower.  If there is a difference, the proportions are not equal. This makes the alternate hypothesis

Ha: p1 - p2 ≠ 0

This is a two tailed test

We will use a significance level of 95% to conduct our test. This makes the critical values for our test statistic: z > 1.96 or z < -1.96.

If our test statistic falls in either region, we will reject the null hypothesis.

See the attached photo for the hypothesis and conclusion

The z-value of the test statistic is z = 0.58.

P(z < 0.58) = 0.7190

Deion has the following data: 47, u, 41, 38. if the range is 10 which could "U" be ?
slavikrds [6]

deion has the following data: 47, u, 41, 38. if the range is 10 which could "U" be ?

REmember that

The range of a set of data is the difference between the highest and lowest values in the set

If U is the highest value

Range=U-38

range=10

so

10=U-38

U=10+38

U=48

If U is the lowest value

Range=47-U

10=47-U

U=47-10

U=37

therefore

U coulbe between 48 and 37

In order to inscribe a circle in a triangle, which line must you construct?
Neporo4naja [7]
A single line?? well i believe if you draw the 3 angle bisectors for the 3 angles of the triangle you can then inscribe your circle. But I am not sure if you mean only a single line and thats it.
