Pick 2 points off ur line...it is easier if u pick whole number points

(2,0) and (0,5)
slope formula = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)
now label ur points
(2,0)...x1 = 2 and y1 = 0
(0,5)...x2 = 0 and y2 = 5
now sub and find the slope
slope(m) = (5 - 0) / (0 - 2) = -5/2 <====

How many solutions can be found for the equation 4z 2(z − 4) = 3z 11? none one two infinitely many
Rus_ich [418]

There is only one solution for the equation 4z + 2(z -4) = 3z + 11 because the exponent for the power of z is 1.

What is an equation?

In mathematics, an equation is a formula that expresses the equality of two expressions, by connecting them with the equals sign =.

What is the Solution?

A solution is any value of a variable that makes the specified equation true.

According to the given information:

4z + 2(z-4)= 3z+11

Solve the equation,

4z+2z-8=3z+11

6z-3z=11+8

3z =19

z=

Hence,

Number of solution that can be found for the equation 4z + 2(z-4)= 3z+11 is option(2) one

a parking garage charges $2.50 base free plus an hourly rate of $4.00. If you hve most $12.50 how many parking you can
snow_lady [41]

Answer: 2.5 hours or 2 hr and 30 min

Step-by-step explanation:

We can set up an equation to find how many hours you can park.

2.5+4x=12.5

The 2.5 comes from the base fee. The 4x is the hourly rate, where x is hours. The 12.5 is the total amount of money you have.

Since we have our equation, we can solve for x.

4x=10

x=2.5

You can park for 2.5 hours, or 2 hours and 30 min.
