Given:

Width of rectangular prism = 20 ft

height of rectangular prism = 12 ft

Length of rectangular prism = 45 ft

Cylindrical diameter = 20 ft

To find:

Volume of the tent

Solution:

Volume of the rectangular prism = length × width × height

                                                       = 45 × 20 × 12

Volume of the rectangular prism = 10800 ft³

Radius of cylinder = 20 ÷ 2 = 10 ft

Height of cylinder = length of rectangular prism

Volume of cylinder = \pi r^{2} h

Volume of half cylinder = \frac{1}{2} \pi r^2h

                                      $=\frac{1}{2} \times 3.142\times 10^2 \times45

Volume of half cylinder = 7069.5 ft³

Volume of tent = volume of rectangular prism + volume of half cylinder

                         = 10800 ft³ + 7069.5 ft³

                         = 17869.5 ft³

                         = 17869 ft³ (nearest cubic foot)

The volume of the tent is 17869 cubic feet.

What does Draw and shade a figure that represents 100%. Label your 100%. Then describe the figure in words.
enot [183]
<span><span>In most statistical models to represent easy percentages, circle is mostly preferred. It is purposefully designed or rather allotted for functions that included 100%. A pie chart in technical terms. Imagine an uneaten cake would represent a 100%. </span></span>In most case scenarios, when you eat one slice of the cake. You take a portion that decreases it 100% or a whole presentation, for instance you took 25% slice of cake, what’s left will be 75% and then when you put back again, the 25% slice will present the whole 100%. In words, 25% slice of a cake you take, what’s left will just a portion 75% and unless you put it back it will be whole again.

Help Please.Use complete sentences to explain the steps required in converting 180 degrees to its equivalent radian measure. Inc
Phoenix [80]
To convert 180 degrees to its equivalent radian measure, multiply it with π/180.
180 (π/180)
The result is π radians.
This is also how the other angles in degrees are converted to radians. Simply multiply with π/180 and express the result in terms of pi.<span />

If varies inversely as . It is known that = 10 when = 3, find the value of when = 5.
Leto [7]

Answer:

y = 6

Step-by-step explanation:

If x varies inversely proportional as y.

x=\dfrac{k}{y}, k is constant of proportionality

or

k = xy

When x = 3 and y = 10

k = 3×10

k = 30

Put x = 5,

y=\dfrac{k}{x}\\\\y=\dfrac{30}{5}\\\\y=6

So, the value of y is 6 when x is 5.

Fittoniya [83]

Answer:

QSR = 68º

Step-by-step explanation:

TSQ + QSR = TSR

15x + (10x - 2) = 173

Combine like terms

25x = 175

Divide both sides by 25

x = 7

QSR = 10x - 2

QSR = 10(7) - 2

QSR = 68º
