The immune system<span> is made up of a network of cells, tissues, and organs that work together to protect the body. One of the important cells involved are white blood cells, also called leukocytes, which come in two basic types that combine to seek out and destroy disease-causing organisms or substances.</span>

Answer:

The function of the human immune system is to protect us.

Explanation:

The function of the immune system is to protect us from the viruses, bacteria and infections that live around us. The immune system is in charge of <u>attacking </u>and <u>destroying</u> everything that could harm us, which is called antigen.

The immune system will react through inflammation where the white blood cells go throughout the body to where the antigen is found and "ask for reinforcements" of more white blood cells.

Once the threat disappears, the inflammation subsides.

How does the virus use a host cell to make copies of itself
vagabundo [1.1K]

Answer:

I wasn't quite sure what virus you were referring to in your question, but here's a general answer: Viruses use their host cells' machinery to replicate themselves.

If they are a specific type of virus known as a retrovirus, they have the ability to use the host cells' enzymes to change the RNA contained within the virus into DNA (via some type of replication I suppose).

In other cases, if they contain DNA instead of RNA (that is, the virus), they can use the host cell's machinery to create RNA via enzymes involved in transcription and/or they can incorporate that DNA into the host cell's DNA. This is part of a type of viral replication cycle known as the lysogenic cycle.

In another type of viral replication cycle known as the lytic cycle, the virus simply has itself and its genome duplicated until the host cell bursts, releasing the viral material. Here, again, the virus uses the host cell's machinery to replicate itself.

Verizon [17]
<h2>Answer:</h2>

The mistake made by Tyra is identified as personal error.

<h3>Explanation:</h3>

When an experiment is performed, the results which came in the final step or after interpreting experiment results are not 100% correct results.

Because there are many types of errors which can influence an experiment result like an instrumental error, personal error/human error.

The personal error is the error in measuring results or interpreting the results by the scientist due to some reasons like attention deviation or inability to take accurate measuring.
