This is hard to answer since I haven’t been through this situation, but I do recommend having a calm serious talk about your feelings, if he sees how serious and passionate you are about this, he may consider giving it a go.

I hope this was helpful, good luck

Answer:

Oh boy, well, he's 19 youre 16 there is an age difference....but its not bad. When your friends joke around that you like him, what does he say? Or are they just joking around w/ you? I think that you are young and the crush will pass, but if you really truly like him but he doesnt like you, you can continue to like him, because if you really like him, theres no way youre going to get over him if your heart says “hes mineeeeee”. But if you only like him a little, you could try to get over him so you dont get hurt, but getting hurt is part of growing up and figuring out who you are. Just believe in yourself and follow ur heart!! <333

The diagonal length of a rectangular playing field is 76 feet, and its width is 48 feet. How long is the playing field?
Sauron [17]

The length of playing field is 58.9 feet

<u>Solution:</u>

Given that, the diagonal length of a rectangular playing field is 76 feet,

And its width is 48 feet.

<em><u>To find: length of playing field</u></em>

Now, we know that, <em>diagonal, width and length of a rectangle will form an right angle triangle with diagonal as hypotenuse. </em>

So, now, in a right angled triangle  we can use pythagorean theorem to find the length

Pythagorean theorem, states that the square of the length of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of squares of the lengths of other two sides of the right-angled triangle.

By above definition, In a right angled triangle ABC we get

c^2 = a^2 + b^2

Where "c" is the length of hypotenuse

"a" is the length of one leg of right angled triangle

"b" is the length of other leg of right angled triangle

\begin{array}{l}{\text {Then, diagonal = width }^{2}+\text { length }^{2}} \\\\ {76^{2}=48^{2}+\text {length }^{2}} \\\\ {\text {Length }^{2}=76^{2}-48^{2}} \\\\ {\text {Length }^{2}=5776-2304}\end{array}

\begin{array}{l}{\text { Length }^{2}=3472} \\\\ {\text { Length }=\sqrt{3472}} \\\\ {\text { Length }=58.92}\end{array}

Hence, the length of the rectangular field is 58.9 feet

Verify the identity:<br> tan(x+pi/2)=-cotx<br><br> please!!
olya-2409 [2.1K]
First we use sin(a+b)= sinacosb+sinbcosa
and cos(a+b)=cosa cosb -sinasinb

tan(x+pi/2)= sin(x+pi/2) / cos(x+pi/2)
and sin(x+pi/2) = sinxcospi/2 + sinpi/2cosx =cosx,
<span>cos(x+pi/2) = cosxcospi/2- sinxsinpi/2= - sinx,
</span> because <span>cospi/2 =0,  </span>and <span>sinpi/2=1

</span><span>=tan(x+pi/2)= sin(x+pi/2) / cos(x+pi/2)= cosx / -sinx = -1/tanx = -cotx
</span>from where <span>tan(x+pi/2)=-cotx</span>
