Answer:

Zygote, germinal.

Explanation:

The process in which a sperm of a male fuses/unite with the egg/ovum of a female is known as fertilization which occurs in germinal prenatal period. As soon as sperm reaches female genital tract, it tends to move towards ovum which is present in fallopian tube. After formation of zygote, an embryo(2 cells) is formed by the first cleavage of zygote. After continuous cleavages the embryo is converted into morula (~ 16 - 64 cells)  and then into blastocyst  (~ 128 - 300 cells). The blastocyst then moves to the uterus where it can be implanted so that it could develop further. All this occurs during germinal prenatal period which starts from fertilization and ends with the formation of blastocyst.

Describe the effects that the dams built by beavers (a keystone species) have on other types of organisms.
lianna [129]

Answer:

Beavers and their dams play an important role in nature. Because of the dramatic effects their dams have on surrounding ecosystems, these mammals are considered a keystone species. By constructing dams they create wetlands -- lush environments which attract fish, ducks, frogs and other creatures.

The DNA in the nucleus and mitochondria are the same.

This is not exactly true, although they are similar. This is not a correct option.

The following three are correct options:

Mitochondria and chloroplasts grow independently from the cell.

This is true, and supports the idea that they previously existed as their own organisms.

Prokaryotic cells, mitochondria, and chloroplasts are all the same size.

All three organisms/organelles are roughly the same size, which supports the idea that chloroplasts and mitochondria are descendants or prokaryotes.

Mitochondria and chloroplasts contain their own ribosomes. This is true as  well.
