The ride lasts = 1.5 minutes ( 1 and a half )
time taken to prepare = 2 minutes
total time taken for this = 3.5 minutes

so 3.5 added by itself 30 times is the same as 3.5 multiplied by 30 ( i think )

soooooo 3.5×30=105

the ride can be completed in 105 minutes i think

1 time=2mins
xtimes=30mins

30/2 ×1= 15.
Therefore it can be completed 15 times in 30mins

What is m∠RST?<br><br> I need help on this please thank youuu
kkurt [141]
It’s an isoceles triangle so 180-64=116degrees = the sum of the other two equal angles in the triangle QRP and so angle QRP is 116÷2=58degrees, angles QRP and SRT are vertically opposite so they’re equal. The triangle SRT is also isosceles so 180-58= 122degrees = the sum of the last two equal base angles (including RST that you want to find) So lastly do 122÷2= 61degrees = angle RST

Please solve the problem with steps
Debora [2.8K]

Answer:

Infinite series equals 4/5

Step-by-step explanation:

Notice that the series can be written as a combination of two geometric series, that can be found independently:

\frac{3^{n-1}-1}{6^{n-1}} =\frac{3^{n-1}}{6^{n-1}} -\frac{1}{6^{n-1}} =(\frac{1}{2})^{n-1} -\frac{1}{6^{n-1}}

The first one: (\frac{1}{2})^{n-1} is a geometric sequence of first term (a_1) "1" and common ratio (r) " \frac{1}{2} ", so since the common ratio is smaller than one, we can find an answer for the infinite addition of its terms, given by: Infinite\,Sum=\frac{a_1}{1-r} = \frac{1}{1-\frac{1}{2} } =\frac{1}{\frac{1}{2} } =2

The second one: \frac{1}{6^{n-1}} is a geometric sequence of first term "1", and common ratio (r) " \frac{1}{6} ". Again, since the common ratio is smaller than one, we can find its infinite sum:

Infinite\,Sum=\frac{a_1}{1-r} = \frac{1}{1-\frac{1}{6} } =\frac{1}{\frac{5}{6} } =\frac{6}{5}

now we simply combine the results making sure we do the indicated difference: Infinite total sum= 2-\frac{6}{5} =\frac{10-6}{5} =\frac{4}{5}
