l with high levels of toxic metals. What does the existence of life in such extreme environments say about the possibility of life on other planets?

Answer:

Life may exist in extreme conditions

Explanation:

The conditions in other planets do not normally resemble those on Earth. They are commonly much hotter or colder and are filled with toxic gases or liquids. It would be easy to think that life could not exist in those inhospitable places, but when we see how life on our own planet has adapted to the harshest enironments we have to think again and consider that life could exist in those extreme planets.

When can an acquired mutation be passed from parent to offspring
Vitek1552 [10]
If the mutation takes place in a gamete that ends up forming an embryo, the mutation will be passed on to an offspring. This can also occur if the mutation occurs early in an embryos development, and the cell becomes one of the gamete forming cells, the mutation will be passed on to their offspring.

If you were designing a lander to work on mars, where on earth would you test it? Why?
emmasim [6.3K]
Hmm good question. Well I would have to test it for where there are no living life. I would have to build another NASA in the County because there is plenty of room there. Mars is made out of Dusty Crust that is about 30 miles thick. And let's say that the desert's Dusty Crust is about 5 miles - 15 miles thick. That will give about the same amount of surface that mars has. So we would know what to build for a perfect lander to work on Mars. This isn't much but it is something.
