Answer:

liquid solution: soda

solid solution: stell.

compound: salt.

coloid: milk.

element: aluminum foil.

Explanation:

Solutions are homogeneous combination of two components, a solute (the one in lower proportion) and a solvent (the one in bigger proportion). Soda is solution composed by water (solvent) and carbonic acid (solute). Steel is a solid combination of Iron (solvent) and Carbon (solute).

A compound is a molecule composed by 2 or more different elements. Here, salt (NaCl) is composed by Sodium (Na) and Chlorine (Cl).

Coloids are systems, apparently homogeneous, but when you look deeper you can detect different phases. This is the case of milk which is a fluid with proteins and differents components constituting different phases.

Finally an element is a form of materia in which there is only one atom. Aluminum foil is an example of this.

What is primarily responsible for holding two nitrogen atoms together in a molecule of nitrogen gas?
kotykmax [81]

The answer is B Nitrogen atoms will form three covalent bonds (also called triple covalent) between two atoms of nitrogen because each nitrogen atom needs three electrons to fill its outermost shell. Another example of a nonpolar covalent bond is found in the methane (CH4) molecule.

How many joules are needed to warm 675 grams of water (specific heat= 4.186 J/g degrees Celsius) from 12 degrees Celsius to 85 d
Naya [18.7K]
85-12 = 73 degrees needed
4.186 J/degree Celsius, so
73 degrees * 4.186 J/degree = 305.578 J to raise 1 gram 73 degrees
there are 675 grams, so 305.578 * 675 = 206265.15 J

2.06 x 10^5 J are needed

When Johann Schweigger invented the first galvanometer, what did he recognize could be used to measure current:"
lukranit [14]
He improved and followed from the works of Luigi Galvani, which used a 'frog galvanoscope' as a prototype of measuring current. He recognized that a compass could actually measure current, given that it is placed near coil of wire.
