8 bags of oranges.
If 1 bag of oranges filled the jug 1/8 of the way, you'll need 7 more bags of oranges to equal 8/8, or a full jug. The 1/5 of a pint is unnecessary information for the question.

Vina has $4.70 in quarters, dimes and nickels in her purse. She has eight more dimes than quarters and six more nickels than qua
DanielleElmas [232]

Nickels (0.05): Q + 6

Dimes (0.10): Q + 8

Quarters (0.25): Q

Nickels        +    Dimes      +  Quarters  = Total

0.05(Q + 6)  + 0.10(Q + 8) +   0.25(Q)    = 4.70

0.05Q + 0.30 + 0.10Q + 0.80 + 0.25Q = 4.70

                                         0.40Q + 1.10 = 4.70

                                                   0.40Q = 3.60

                                                            Q = 9

Nickels (0.05): Q + 6  = (9) + 6  = 15

Dimes (0.10): Q + 8   = (9) + 8   = 17

Answer: Nickels = 15, Dimes = 17, Quarters = 9

Which ordered pair is a solution of the equation? − 7 x + 3 y = 2 −7x+3y=2
Viefleur [7K]

Answer:

Hello There. ☆~\---___`:•€`___---/~☆ The correct answer is C. Both (1,3) and (-2,-4).

To check whether (-2,-4) is a solution of the equation let's substitute x= -2 and y= -4 into the equation:

-7x+3y=2

-7*(-2)+3*(-4)=2

14-12=2

2=2

Do the same thing with (1,3)

-7x + 3y = 2

-7 * 1 + 3 * 3 = 2

-7 + 9 = 2

2 = 2.

Hope It Helps!~ ♡
