Please include multiple choice. If not here is my answer :

You can determine the base of the cylinder if you have the volume and the height by using the volume formula (V=πr2h).

You will have to substitute the values and solve the problem like any algebraic equation. Therefor, you will be able to find your base.

Reminder: We already know that radius (r) is 3.14

Write a quadratic equation to represent a function with the vertex (-4, 1)
pishuonlain [190]

Answer:

y=a(x+4)^2 +1, for a real number a hat is different of 0.

Step-by-step explanation:

If we know only the vertex, there are many quandratic equations.

* Result: Vertex (m,n), the quadratic equation is y= a(x-m)^2 + n for a real number a that is different of 0.

Here, the vertex (-4,1), we have the equation: y=a(x+4)^2 +1, for a real number a hat is different of 0.

Hope you understand.

99 point please help
____ [38]
It wants it to be in slope-intercept form.

y=mx+b

We have to first find the slope and plug it into point-slope form.

y-y1=m(x-x1)

Find the slope of the second line. (I did this one first on accident)

Rise/run= 3/1= 3 The slope is 3. Plug that in along with the point (0,3)

y-3=3(x-0)
y-3=3x

Add 3 to the other side.

y= 3x +3 <- for the second line

Now, the second.

rise/run= 1/2= .5 Use point (6,0)

y-0=.5(x-6)
y= .5x-3

y=.5x-3 <- for the first line

I hope this helps!

The flagpole in front of VHS 50 feet tall. The angle of elevation from the end of its shadow to the top of the flagpole is 46°.
mamaluj [8]

Answer:

The length of the shadow is 48.28 feet.

Step-by-step explanation:

The flagpole at its shadow form a 46, 44, 90 triangle.

Let AB be the flagpole. AC is the shadow.

Let's use the sine law to calculate AC.

\frac{AC}{sin(44)}=\frac{50}{sin(46)}\\AC=\sin(44)*\frac{50}{sin(46)}AC=48.28

What expression is equivalent to (^3√2^5)^1/4
Nezavi [6.7K]
Soo first apply the exponent rule (2^5)^1/3*1/4
1/3*1/4= 1/12
so (2^5)^1/12
then you apply the exponent rule again 2^5*1/2
so 5*1/12= 5/12
So the answer would be 2^5/12
