Bigger organisms have more cells. Unless it's fat cells (fats)
If cells were bigger, you wouldnt need to see the cells under the microscope. Eg: on a plant, you cants see the stomata on the bottom of the leaf because the cell is too small. Thres the answer: bigger organisms dont have bigger cells

Use the drop-down menus to answer the questions about genetic recombination. involves the transfer of genetic material from one
Tresset [83]

The right matches are:

• Involves the transfer of genetic material from one bacteria to another ==> Genetic recombination (all 3).

• Involves scraps of genetic material ==> Transformation.

• Uses a virus to transmit genetic material ==> Transduction.

• Uses a pilus to transmit genetic information ==> Conjugation.

• Introduces new genetic material to a bacterium ==> Genetic recombination (all 3).

In molecular biology the term genetic recombination is often used as a synonym for DNA recombination, that is, the processes by which one DNA (or RNA) molecule is cut off, then joined to another.

There are three possible mechanisms in the bacterium: bacterial conjugation, bacterial transformation and transduction.

Difference between diabetes mellitus and diuresis?? please help
rodikova [14]

Explanation:

If you have been in EMS long enough, you may well have encountered a patient with diabetes insipidus. Like many, you may have assumed that it is a variant of the common disease diabetes mellitus. Actually, diabetes mellitus and diabetes insipidus are totally unrelated other than the name. The term diabetes is derived from Latin (originally Greek) and means “to go through or siphon,” referring to a large amount of urine produced by the kidneys. The term melitus, in Latin, means “sweet.”
