The molecule shown in the picture represents the ATP- adenosine triphosphate molecule.

The adenosine triphosphate molecule is a nucleotide, made up of three components. These three components are sugar, an adenine nitrogenous base (purine), and three phosphate group.

The adenine is present as the blue color in the picture. The sugar is presented as the green and three phosphate group are present in the white color labeled as P.

What is one of the principal chemical compounds that living things use to store energy
arlik [135]

Answer:

ATP or Adenosine triphosphate is the chief compounds which are used by the living things to store energy.

Explanation:

ATP is the compound that captures the chemical energy released through the degradation of food. It stores the captured energy and releases it at the time of need experienced by the organism.

It is made up of adenine, ribose sugar, and a phosphate group. It is produced in a cell organelle called mitochondria through a process called respiration.

What process is used to take atmospheric nitrogen and turn it into nitrates?
andre [41]

Answer:

Nitrogen fixation

Explanation:

Certain soil bacteria, e.g., Azobacter spp can combine free nitrogen of the atmosphere with oxygen to form nitrates. This is called nitrogen fixation. Other nitrogen-fixing bacteria such as Rhizobium form symbiotic unions with the roots of leguminous plants called root nodules. They fix nitrogen to form nitrates which are used up by the host plant. Nitrifying soil bacteria, e.g., Nitrobacter convert nitrites to nitrates in a process called nitrification.

Naturally acquired active immunity: It happens when someone is exposed to a live disease and gets the disease. The person then becomes immune as a result of the first immune response.

It's sort of like a fall and learn to get up for the body.

Artificially acquired active immunity: It can be isert into the body by a vaccine so you won't get sick. That's why if you get a flu shot, you won't get the flu, if you get a chicken pox vaccine, you won't get the chicken pox.

It's like you're body has a personal guide telling it where and where not to step in order to not fall.
