Okay so let’s start with number one you have 2 out of the 3 sides and you have to solve for the third

Let’s call the side you are looking for side A than the side with 13 side B and the side with 29 side C

So
B=13
C=29
A= ?

You would use the equation

A^2 + B^2 = C^2

So

A^2 + (13)^2 = (29)^2

13^2 = 169
29^2 = 841

So

A^2 + 169 = 841

A^2 = 672

A= 4 times the square root of 42

Or if yu need a estimated answer

A= 25.9

jasenka [17]
So the functions are simply the same but the only different among them is when sin x and cos x is shifted by pi/2 as compared to cos x. I hope you are satisfied with my answer and feel free to ask for more if you have questions and clarifications

I will mark you brainliest if its correctly
zheka24 [161]

Step-by-step explanation:

sina = -√3/2

\cos(a)  =   \sqrt{1 -  { \sin(a) }^{2} }

=  \sqrt{1 -  { (\frac{  - \sqrt{ 3} }{2}) }^{2} }

=  \sqrt{ \frac{4 - 3}{4} }

=  \sqrt{ \frac{1}{4} }

=±1/2

Since, π<a<3π/2

cos a = -1/2

\tan(a )=  \frac{ \sin(a) }{ \cos(a) }

\tan(a )  =  \sqrt{3}

JulsSmile [24]

Answer:

$100.87 (to the nearest cent)

Step-by-step explanation:

1 gallon = 27 miles

⇒ number of gallons needed to drive 838 miles = 838 ÷ 27 = 31.0370370... gallons

1 gallon = $3.25

⇒ total cost to drive 838 miles = 3.25 x 838/27 = $100.87 (to the nearest cent)
