Lot 1 lies where two roads meet at a 79° angle. Lot 2 lies where two roads meet at a 65° angle. Lot 3 lies where two roads meet

at a 36° angle. All lots have two sides measuring 20 feet as shown. A fence runs along the back wall of each property, as shown in the diagram. Which lot has the longest fence along the back wall? Which lot has the shortest fence along the back wall?

Answer: Lot 1 has the longest fence while Lot 3 has the shortest fence.

Explanation: Here, the two sides of each lots are equal then we can say that the third side which is opposite to the given angles is directly proportional to that angle.  if the angle increases the third side will be increase.

We can understand it with help of the given diagram.

since the first Lot has the largest angle 79° thus it has the largest fence while the 3rd lot has the lowest angle 36° so it has the lowest or shortest fence.

Nico ordered a side of rice and beans for $2.50 and x tacos, each priced at $3.50, including tax. To determine the total cost of
Talja [164]
The domain of a function is the set of values that can be used for x.
Here, x represents the number of tacos.
He can order no taco, so x = 0.
He can order 1 taco, where x = 1.
He can order 2 tacos, so x = 2.
He cannot order a fraction of a taco, so x cannot be a mixed numeral.
He can order as many tacos as he wants, so x can be any whole number, 0 to infinity.
The domain is all whole numbers.
