A subscript usually applies to the number of molecules of a single element. A coefficient applies to the whole compound. For example, CO2, there are 2 oxygen molecules. But if it were 4NaCl, that's 4 molecules of salt. Each molecule containing only 1 of each element.

Rhenium has two naturally occurring isotopes Re - 185 with a natural abundance of 37 40%, and Re - 187 with a natural abundance
Leya [2.2K]

Answer:

individual isotopes

Re 185 = 139.094

Re 187 = 232.815

Explanation:Correcting the typo error for natural abundance as 37 40 as 37.40 and 62 60 as  62.60

Answer is found as follows

For Re 185 natural abundance  37.40%

  371.9087 x 37.40/100 = 139.0938538

six significant figures after rounding off = 139.094

For Re 187  natural abundance 62.60

371.9087 x 62.60/100 = 232.8148462

six significant figures after rounding off = 232.815

Why do chromosomes condemce before cell division
Vlad [161]

Answer:This condensation is needed to allow the chromosomes to move along the mitotic spindle without becoming tangled or broken during their distribution to daughter cells. DNA in this highly condensed state can no longer be transcribed, so all RNA synthesis stops during mitosis.

What is the value of 1.5 ATM of gas at 20°C and a 3 L vessel are heated at 30°C at a pressure of 5.2 ATM
vampirchik [111]

Answer:

The answer will be approximately 1.0L

Explanation:

The problem has not been properly specified. You could have specified a gas in a PISTON, whose volume would decrease with increased pressure, and increase with increased temperature.

For such a system, we would use the

combined gas law:

\frac{P1V1}{T1}=\frac{P2V2}{T2}

V_{2}= \frac{P1V1}{T1}\times\frac{T2}{P2}

                       =\frac{1.5\times3.0\times303}{293\times5.2}

                        \approx1.0L

What is the unbalanced equation of rust? (Not the balanced equation)
Bond [772]

Answer:

4Fe+ 3O2 → 2Fe2O

Explanation:

Let's return to the chemical reaction in which iron (Fe) combines with oxygen (O2) to form rust, or iron oxide (Fe2O3). The equation for this reaction is: 4Fe+ 3O2 → 2Fe2O
