I don't know if you're looking for an answer from someone on here, or for an assignment of some sort. In my opinion; If there is a history of something like a disease or cancer in the genes throughout the family, then yes I think it is perfectly fine. If it is being done for a reason other than to help someone in a way, it's not the best thing to do.
