Interpersonal communication is a process by which two  people emit meaning, simultaneously sending and receiving symbolic messages. The elements of communication  interpersonal skills are similar to other types of communication: people exchange meaning through messages  verbal and non-verbal. Sender and receiver do not act freely  in the interpersonal communication process, are influenced,  positively or negatively, by the positions they occupy  in the socio-cultural context, in addition to the influence of  personal.

The interpersonal relationship process is complex,  continuous and permanent, and develops through behaviors, thoughts, feelings, mental and physical reactions,  being the most frequent form of human interaction. Interpersonal relationships are significant in the lives of  human beings and it is through these that the set of systems that organize society. The damage in relationships  interpersonal relationships can lead to damage in social relationships.  In addition, the way in which these relationships occur define the  coexistence between individuals and the environment.  Therefore, the quality of these relationships can make a difference  between well-being and suffering, that's why it's so relevant.
