              The Revolutionary war is also known as American War of Independence and it ended in 1783. It was the war fought between Britain and the thirteen colonies that was finally declared independence.

             After the Revolutionary War ended and the  United States of America was formed,  the delegates chose from the thirteen American states decided to meet at Philadelphia to  draft a new constitution for the  United States.

              In the first constitution drafted and formed, the Congressmen gave special importance to the right to vote for its citizens in almost every state that adopted the constitution.
