The first thing we must keep in mind is the following unit conversion:
 1 gigabytes = 1 * 10 ^ 9 bytes

 We have then that for 35 gigabytes:
 35 * (1 * 10 ^ 9) = 35 * 10 ^ 9 bytes

 Part A:

For this case we make the following rule of three:
 2000 bytes --------------> 1 page
 35*10^9 bytes ----------> x
 From here, we clear x:
 x = (35 * 10 ^ 9) / (2000)

x = 17500000 pages

 Part B:

Then, the number of 500-page books is:
 n = (17500000) / (500)

n = 35000

x_{2}=\frac{-b+\sqrt{\Delta} }{2a}=\frac{6+2\sqrt{3}}{2 }=\frac{2( 3+ \sqrt{3})}{2}= 3+ \sqrt{3}

  • 50 dollars is the initial amount in the saving account
  • 50 dollars is added every week into the savings account.

Variables:

  • x: # of weeks
  • y: total amount of money in savings

Set equation based on known facts and variables:

  y = 50x + 50, 50x is the rate at which it grows depending on

   the week and 50 is the initial amount there

85,000,000+2.9×10 5 pleas and thank you
irina [24]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Assuming you are asking for

85,000,000 + 2.9 x 10^5 =

8.5 x 10^7 + 2.9 x 10^5 =

10^5 ( 8.5 x10^2 + 2.9) =

10^5 ( 850+2.9) =

10^5 ( 852.9) =

10^5 x 8.529 x 10 ^2=

8.529 x 10^7

or

85,000,000 + 2.9 x 10^5 =

85,000,000 + 290,000 =

85290000 =

8.529 x 10 ^7 (because we moved 7 spots to the left)
