Many invertebrates die during the earlier stages of their life cycle because they are a major part of the food chain.

True. This is because they form the lowest parts of the food chain. These invertebrates at young stages are generally exposed to the harsh environments around them. Being organisms that have not developed their mechanisms for protection these invertebrates will be subject to bigger animals and will serve as an easy prey. These invertebrates can be easy prey to larger organisms like birds and frogs, that mostly feed on insects and soft organisms. The saying, "survival of the fittest," is always true when it comes to the ecosystem.

Since beans contain the essential amino acid methionine, beans are considered complete protein sources.
Leni [432]
The above statement is false.
A complete protein is a source of protein that contains an adequate proportion of all nine essential amino acids necessary for the dietary needs of humans.
For example, meat, seafood, eggs and dairy are all complete proteins, while plant foods like beans, whole-grains and brown rice are incomplete proteins.

A normal chromosome and its homolog carrying an inversion are given. The dot (•) represents the centromere. Normal: M N • O P Q
AlladinOne [14]

Answer:

Pericentric, inversion loop.

Explanation:

Chromosomal inversion may be defined as the rearrangement of chromosome that may get reversed and attached. Two main types of inversion are pericentric inversion and paracentric inversion.

The pericentric inversion involves the inversion of chromsome and centromere is involved in this inversion. M Q P O • N R S T , in this case centromere is present and shows the pericentric inversion. The structure that forms during the synapsis is known as inversion loop.

Thus, the answer is pericentric, inversion loop.
