Mathematics

Lets use this set of data as an example:
2,2,3,3,3,3,4,4,5

Median is the data number that is in the middle of all of the numbers when arranged from least to greatest.
The median would be 3 since its in the middle. THINK: Median=Medium

Range is the highest number minus the lowest number. This is easy.
5-2=3
So the range is 3.

The mode is the number that you see the most often. 3 is the most since there are four 3s. There can be more than one mode or even no mode. THINK: Mode=Most

The mean is all of the numbers added together and then divided by the number of numbers.
2+2+3+3+3+3+4+4+5= 29
29 divided by 9 = 3.2222222222(repeated)
The mean can also be called the average.

I hope this helps!!!

Answer:

19.2 kg

Step-by-step explanation:

Amount of Bananas consumed in US per year = 5.77 million metric tons

Since 1 million = 10^{6} and 1 metric ton = 1000 kg, we can write:

Amount of Bananas consumed in US per year = 5.77 \times 10^{6} metric tons

Amount of Bananas consumed in US per year = 5.77 \times 10^{6} \times 1000 = 5.77 \times 10^{9} kg

Number of people in US = 301 million = 301 \times 10^{6}= 3.01 \times 10^{8}

We have to find how many kilograms of bananas are consumed per person in 1 year in US. For this we have to divide the total amount of bananas eaten in US per year with total number of people in US, which will be:

\frac{5.77 \times 10^{9}}{3.01 \times 10^{8}} \\\\ = 19.2

This means, 19.2 kilograms of bananas are eaten in US per person in a year.

Someone help me please
Studentka2010 [4]

Step-by-step explanation:

The slope of the line passing through two points is given by,

\frac{y2 - y1}{x2 - x1}

13)

\frac{(0 - y)}{(0 - 2)}  =  (\frac{ - 3}{2} )

\frac{ - y}{ - 2}  =  \frac{ - 3}{2}

y =  - 3

option D

14)

\frac{ ( - 3 - y)}{(1 + 5)}  =  \frac{ - 1}{6}

\frac{ - 3 - y}{6}  =  \frac{ - 1}{6}

- 3 - y =  - 1

- y =  - 1 + 3 = 2

y =  - 2

option C

15)

\frac{(y - 4)}{( - 5 + 1)}  =  \frac{1}{4}

\frac{y - 4}{ - 4}  =  \frac{1}{4}

- y + 4 = 1

- y = 1 - 4 =  - 3

y = 3

option B

16)

\frac{(y + 3)}{( - 4 - 3)}  =  \frac{ - 3}{7}

- (y + 3) =  - 3

y = 3 - 3 = 0

option C
