If we can match teh bases we can solve
because if x=x and xᵃ=xᵇ, we can conclude that a=b

16=2⁴
32=2⁵
rememeber that (x^m)^n=x^{mn}

16^{3x+2}=32^{-2x-7}
(2^4)^{3x+2}=(2^5)^{-2x-7}
2^{4(3x+2)}=2^{5(-2x-7)}
2=2 so we conclude that 4(3x+2)=5(-2x-7)

4(3x+2)=5(-2x-7)
expand/distribute
12x+8=-10x-35
add 10x both sides
22x+8=-35
minus 8 both sides
22x=-43
divide both sides by 22
x=-43/22

Ivanshal [37]

Answer:

For the first equation the answer for "X" will be,

x =  \frac{ - 4 - y}{2}

if you want me to solve for y instead then the answer will be,

y =  - 4 - 2x

for the second equation the answer for "X" will be,

x =  \frac{1 + 3y}{5}

If you want me to solve for y instead then the answer will be,

y =  -  \frac{1 - 5x}{3}

Can someone help me in this question please be 100% correct it's a very important assignment
Arada [10]
For the first question, simply draw a horizontal line that has a middle number of 0. This is our number line. Then simplify plot the points.

For example, Furyk will be -3. Because he is 3 under par and par is 0.

For the second question, just find each person's score and line them up by size.

Furyk: -3
Woods: -6
Daly: +1
Couples: +6

Rearrange them by size.

-6, -3, 1, 6

And for the last question, Furyk would have a coordinate of (-3, 0).

So, the integers and the whole number would be the answer.

Keiko takes classes at both Westside Community College and Pinewood Community College. At Westside, class fees are per credit ho
Naily [24]

Answer: Total dollar amount =98 w + 115 (18-w)

Step-by-step explanation:

Hi, the question is lacking the values and variables, the full question is:

<em>Keiko takes classes at both Westside Community College and Pinewood Community College. At Westside, class fees are $98 per credit hour, and at Pinewood, class fees are $115 per credit hour. Keiko is taking a combined total of 18 credit hours at the two schools.  </em>

<em>Suppose that he is taking w credit hours at Westside, Write an expression for a combined total dollar amount he paid for his class fees.  </em>

So, to answer this question we have to write an equation with the information given:

So, he has a total 0f 18 credit hours, and we only know that he is taking w credit hours at Westside. So, the credit hours that he is taking at pinewood is equal to 18-w.

The expressions are:

Westside cost: 98 w

Pinewood cost: 115 (18 -w)

If we add both expressions

Total dollar amount =98 w + 115 (18-w)

Where w is the amount of credit hours he is taking at Westside.
