"Of" means multiply so we are going to do \frac{2}{5}*8. \frac{2}{5}*8= \frac{16}{40} \frac{16}{40} can be simplified. The GCF of 16 and 40 is 8 so we are going to do \frac{16}{40} divided by 8. \frac{16:8}{40:8}= \frac{2}{5} Therefore, your answer is \boxed{ \frac{2}{5}}. Hoped I helped. :)

PLEASE HELP ME! Using the following data, calculate the mean absolute deviation: 10 7 1 6 7 9 8 10 2 5 What is the mean absolute
gtnhenbr [62]

Answer:

The mean absolute deviation of the data set is 2.4

Step-by-step explanation:

To determine the mean absolute deviation (MAD) of the data, we start by finding the mean of the data set.

The mean is obtained by finding the sum of the data values, and then dividing the sum by the number of data values.

Find the absolute value of the difference between each data value and the mean: |data value – mean|.

Find the sum of the absolute values of the differences.

Divide the sum of the absolute values of the differences by the number of data values.

Solve x:<br> 9x - 6/5 = -12
tiny-mole [99]
9x - 6/5 = -12
Convert -12 to -60/5
9x - 6/5 = -60/5
Add 6/5 to both sides
9x - 6/5 + 6/5 = -60/5 + 6/5
9x = -54/5
divide both sides by 9
x = -6/5
