*MB:

Since M is the centroid of ΔABC, we know that:

MB= 2MD

=> MB= 2 × 13

=> MB= 26

*ME

Since M is the centroid of ΔABC, we know that:

MC= 2ME

=> ME= MC/2

=> ME= 30/2

=> ME= 15

*MF:

Since M is the centroid of ΔABC, we know that:

=> MF= 1/3AF

=> MF= 24/3= 8

(I'm kind of amazed that they don't teach you this rule in your country :))))

A satellite is composed of 30 modular units, each of which is equipped with a set of sensors, some of which have been upgraded.
Anit [1.1K]

Answer:

\frac{1}{7}

Step-by-step explanation:

The satellite has 30 modular units.

There are equal numbers of non-upgraded sensors in each unit.

Let us assume that on the entire satellite there are x numbers of upgraded sensors.

Then as per the given condition, there are \frac{x}{5} number of non-upgraded sensors in one unit.

Therefore, the number of non-upgraded sensors on the entire satellite is \frac{30x}{5} =6x

Hence, total number of sensors in the satellite is (x+ 6x) =7x

Therefore, the required fraction of the upgraded sensors is \frac{x}{7x} =\frac{1}{7}. (Answer)

Please help with any of these, number 14, 16, 18 and 20 !!
kicyunya [14]

Answer:

14: B. 40 C. 40 D. 100

Step-by-step explanation:

a triangle is 180 degrees adding all the angles. The triangle on the top is just a mirror for the bottom and since B and C are the same that equals 80 and when you subtract 80 from 180 you get 100 so that makes D 100.

To double check just add 100+40+40=180
