Answer:

"<u>Q = ΔU + W</u>" is the equation is used to solve the questions related to "First law of thermodynamics".

Option: C

Explanation:

"First law of thermodynamics" states that "energy" neither created nor destroyed, but it can transfer from "one form of energy" to "another form of energy". This "First law of thermodynamics" is also called as "law of conversation of energy". The formula for "First law of thermodynamics" of a system is that "change in internal energy of a system" is same as the difference of "heat energy" flows across the " boundaries of a system" and the "work done" on the system.

ΔU = Q - W

Q = ΔU + W

Where, "ΔU" is "change in internal energy", "Q" is "heat transferred and "W" is "work done.

Near the surface of Earth, what is the acceleration of an object due to the force of gravity? !!!!! Please answer !!!!!
Ierofanga [76]

Answer:

Weight. Recall that the acceleration of a free-falling object near Earth's surface is approximately g=9.80m/s2 g = 9.80 m/s 2 . The force causing this acceleration is called the weight of the object, and from Newton's second law, it has the value mg.

Help me!!! I really need it
Alenkinab [10]

Answer:

The reading on the ammeter A₁ , should be 2 Amp.

Explanation:

Given circuit shows all the bulbs are connected in parallel and ammeter A(T) at the source reads 6 Amp.

So, as the bulbs are in parallel connection, the current gets divided equal to each bulb.

so, the reading on the ammeter A₁ , should be 2 Amp.

But it will show 6 Amp, which is three times of the required value(2 amp).

This is because there was a mistake while making the circuit connections.

Instead of making connections as given circuit, the connections were made different as uploaded circuit.

Instead of connecting ammeter A₁ to only one bulb, it is connected to all the bulbs.

To correct this, remove the wire connecting ammeter and the second bulb.

And connect the second bulb directly to the switch.

The line of latitude that is zero degrees latitude is the
Nuetrik [128]

Answer:

Equator

Explanation:

The equator is the line of latitude that separates the earth into the northern and southern hemisphere.Its magnitude is 0 degrees latitude. The equator and other lines of latitude are parallel to each other. The lines of longitude which is 0 degrees is known as the Greenwich meridian. The longitudinal lines however are not parallel as they converge at the poles.

Two point charges, 1.8 pC and −1.8 pC, are separated by 7 µm. What is the dipole moment of this pair of charges?
Salsk061 [2.6K]

Answer: 12,600,000Cm

Explanation:

From the data's;

Charges(q) = 1.8 PC equal to 1.8 x 10^¹²C

Distance = 7 micrometer, is equal to 0.0000070m

From the equation of electric dipole moment, p= q x d, where q= charge, d=distance and p is the dipole moment.

Then we have 1.8x10^¹² x 0.0000070= 12,600,000Cm

NB: The charges are identical.
