Answer: c. It would utilize renewable energy sources and create less pollution.

Step-by-step explanation:

The alternative sources of energy are things like eolic energy (uses the wind as an energy source) or solar energy (uses sunlight as an energy source). As those resources are natural and renewable, we never will run out of those resources.

Also, the production of those types of energy usually causes less pollution, from this, we have that the correct answer is C.

This will not create new habitats for organisms, it is not really much expensive than the actual methods (while is true that the initial cost of the infrastructure may be very high) so we can discard option B and D.

And less pollution has almost anything to see with the extraction of fossil fuels (the extraction itself causes pollution) so option A can also be discarded.

The endpoints of the diameter of a circle are (–3, –6) and (–7, 8). Find the x-coordinate of the center of the circle.
Crazy boy [7]
You need to find the midpoint of the line. To get x coordinate you take (x1 + x2)/2 which is (-3+-7)/2 = -10/2 = -5. Same thing applies for y.

a six sided die is rolled 4 times in a row. What is the probability of getting 4 only on the last trial of this experiment?
hoa [83]
First, start of by saying what the probability of getting a 4 is, which is 1/6.
Now, this means the probability of not getting a 4 is 1-(1/6)=(5/6), since the total probability is 1.

After doing this, you should think about what it means to only get 4 on the last trial, the 4th trial.  It means that the probabilities of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trial were (5/6) each.  The 4th trial had a probability of (1/6).  So the probability would be calculated as following: ((5/6)^3*(1/6)=5^3/6^4.  You can use a calculator or your computer to find out that the probability is 125/1296.

I hope this was helpful!
