Answer:

x+ y = 75

Step-by-step explanation:

The both paid a total of 75.

Therefore, in order to get 75 you would need to add the amount each of them paid.

Answer:X+Y=75

if miguel and jian are splitting the bill then it would have to be x+y=75 because they are each paying their amounts lets say that jian pays 35 and miguel pays 40 that would make the total pay 75. if you had to go the other answers it wouldnt make sense example A:35=40+70 that is incorrect unless the restaurant only accepted spicific currency that the 2 didnt have and even then it would be over paying for C:3540 would mean that they are paying using a foren currancy that uses larger numbers for smaller amounts of pay as for D:35/40=75 that answer is not even mathmatically correct as an amount like that would not equal 75 no matter what way you put it without putting 75/1 although correct it says and implys that they split the bill almost evenly so D is also wrong

How do you write 17/25 in a decimal and also does the decimal terminate or repeat
Anna [14]
Firstly we need to realize that 17/25 is as much as 68/100 (because 4 * 17 = 68 and 4 * 25 = 100). Now we can write it as a decimal of 0.68.

0.68 is a terminate decimal because there is no other digit than 0 we can add on its right hand side.

Answer:

  • C. negative linear association

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>We have ordered pairs:</u>

  • (1, 32), (2, 26), (3, 20), (4, 14), (5, 8)

<u>Looking at the sequence of y-values:</u>

  • 32, 26, 20, 14, 8

We see it is the arithmetic progression with common difference of -6.

It means the function representing this relationship is linear.

Correct option is C.

Suppose for some positive real number aa that (a^(1 /4) ⋅ a ^(1/ 2 )⋅ a ^(1/ 4) 2 = 3.
Grace [21]

Answer:

(a) a=\frac{3}{2}

(b) We use the property of exponent that when there is multiplication of two function then there exponent are added

Step-by-step explanation:

We have given expression

(a^{\frac{1}{4}}a^{\frac{1}{2}}a^{\frac{1}{4}})2=3

(a) We have to find the value of a

We know the property of exponent that when there is multiplication of two function then there is addition of exponent

So a^{\frac{1}{4}+\frac{1}{2}+\frac{1}{4}}\times 2=3

2a=3

a=\frac{3}{2}

(b) We use the property of exponent that when there is multiplication of two function then there exponent are added
