How much longer does it take a automoblie to travel one mile at 20 miles per hour than at 30 miles per hour? show your work.
zalisa [80]

Answer:

A

Step-by-step explanation:

At the rate of 20 miles per hour, the car will travel 20 miles every 60 minutes, or a third of a mile every minute. This means that it will travel a mile in 3 minutes. For the car travelling at 30 miles per hour, it will travel half a mile every minute, or a mile every 2 minutes. 3-2=1 minute, or choice A. Hope this helps!

Two exterior angles of a triangle equal 100° and 150°. Find all the interior angles.
Papessa [141]

Answer:

The interior angles are  80°, 30° and 70°.

Step-by-step explanation:

The sum of interior angle of a triangle is 180°. Two exterior angle of the triangle is given as 100° and 150°.  The exterior angle of a triangle is equal to the sum of the opposite interior angle. The exterior angle is the angle between one side of a triangle .

Since angle on a straight line = 180°

Two interior angles can be calculated as follows

180 - 100 = 80°

180 - 150 = 30°

2 interior angles are known.

Note the sum of interior angle of a triangle is 180°

since 2 interior angle are known the third angle can be calculated as follows

180 - 80 - 30 = 70°

The interior angles are  80°, 30° and 70°.
