The mechanical advantage of an inclined plane can be calculated using the formula:

IMA= \frac{length of the slope}{height of the ramp}

The length of the ramp: 20ft
The height of the ramp: 5ft

IMA= \frac{length of the slope}{height of the ramp}
IMA= \frac{20ft}{5ft}
IMA= 4

The answer is then C.

If a solid metal sphere and a hollow metal sphere of equal diameters are each given the same charge, the electric field (E) midw
olga55 [171]

Answer:

C. zero for both

Explanation:

In case of solid metal sphere , when it is given any charge , all the charges are transferred on the surface and within surface no charge exists . In case of hollow metal sphere , all charges reside on surface . In this way , in both solid and hollow sphere , all charge reside on the surface and no charge resides inside it . Hence due to absence of any charge inside  , there is no electric field inside the sphere in both the cases .

Hence in both the case electric field is zero .

option C is correct .

At constant pressure as the temperature of a fixed mass of gas increases the volume will
Lelu [443]
Increase. The Law of Boyle and Gay Lussac subscribes that when the pressure remains constant, V/T is constant. So if T rises, so must V to keep the number constant.
