Contraindications  can be <u>hypersensitivity</u>  ( which can include swelling of the mouth & throat or unexplained rash and <u>ventricular fibrillation</u>  ( an irregular heart rhythm)

Precautions: make sure you talk to your doctor and give a complete history.  Notify the doctor of any other medication you may be taking as Lanoxin has serious to moderate interactions with at least 250 other drugs.
