PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME WITH THSI MATH PROBLEM!!!
S_A_V [24]

Answer:

23

Step-by-step explanation:

area of a trapezoid = 1/2 × (a + b) × h

so, we have

96 = 1/2 × ((4x - 1) + (x + 3)) × 6 = (5x + 2) × 3

32 = 5x + 2

30 = 5x

x = 6

a = 4x - 1 = 4×6 - 1 = 24 - 1 = 23

stepladder [879]
The total amount of different books is 16.

Take away 1 from each, representing the same book they all read.

7 - 1 = 6 , 6 - 1 = 5 , 5 - 1 = 4

Add the three together.

6 + 5 + 4 = 15

Add that one book everyone read.

15 + 1 = 16 different books.

Hope I helped you out.
