I think the answer is D, ride comfort. This is something that doesn't necessarily change between EVs and internal combustion vehicles, but is more up to the company itself and I don't think it would really be considered a benefit nor do anything for the environment

You nose out another runner to win the 100.000m dash. If your total time for the race was 11.8 seconds and you aced out the othe
daser333 [38]
You completed 100.000 m in 11.800 second

you aced out the other runner by 0.001 seconds

time taken by other runner to finish = 11.800 + 0.001 = 11.801s

speed of other runner = 100/11.801 m/s

distance covered by him in 11.8 s = 100/11.801 × 11.8 = 99.992 m

you won by = 100 - 99.992 = 0.008 meter

What is the magnitude (in N/C) and direction of an electric field that exerts a 4.00 x 10^−5 N upward force on a −2.00 µC charge
emmasim [6.3K]

Answer:

The magnitude of electric field is 1.25\times10^{14}\ N/C in downward.

Explanation:

Given that,

Force F= 4.00\times10^{-5}\ N

Charge q= -2.00 μC

We know that,

Charge is negative, then the electric field in the opposite direction of the exerted force.

We need to calculate the magnitude of electric field

Using formula of electric force

F = qE

E = \dfrac{F}{q}

E=\dfrac{4.00\times10^{-5}}{-2.00\times1.6\times10^{-19}}

E=-1.25\times10^{14}\ N/C

Negative sign shows the opposite direction of electric force.

Hence, The magnitude of electric field is 1.25\times10^{14}\ N/C in downward.

Strike441 [17]
A jumble of relatively young volcanic debris, some of it located where it fell in Mount Hood’s eruptive past, some of it moved here by the colossal advance of the Newton Clark Glacier during the last ice age.
Newton Clark Moraine
As a result, the rocks making up the moraine are sharp and raw, not rounded, and the debris is largely unsorted. Giant boulders perch precariously atop loose rubble, making the moraine one of the most unstable places on the mountain.

2. A small piece of dust is located in between two oppositely charged parallel plates where there exists a uniform electric fiel
Alla [95]

Answer:

a

The total charge is q = 1.6*10^{-4}C

b

The change in potential energy is \Delta U = -4*10^{-2}J

c

The height is  h= 8.2cm

Explanation:

From the question we are told that the

       The magnitude of electric field is E = 5000N/C

        The number of proton is  N_p = 1*10^{15}

        The distance between the plates is  d = 5cm = \frac{5}{100} = 0.05m

The total charge can be mathematically represented as

            q = N_p * e

Where e is the charge on one proton which has a value of =1.6*10^{-19}C

      Substituting values

           q = 1 *10^{15} * 1.6*10^{-19} = 1.6 *10^{-4}C

The change in potential energy is mathematically represented ads

         \Delta U = -(qE)d

where the negative sign shows that the work done by the electric force is against the electric field

                Substituting values

         \Delta U = - 1.6*10^{-4} * 5000 * 0.05

                = -4*10^{-2}J

   The mass of the bead is given as 0.05kg

  The change in potential due to gravity is mathematically given as

                    \Delta U = -mgh

the negative sign is  due to the fact that the height is decreasing

And g =9.8m/s^2

                  Making h the subject

        h = \frac{\Delta U}{mg}

Substituting values

                 h = \frac{4*10^{-2}}{0.05 * 9.8}

                   =0.081m = 0.082 *100 = 8.2cm
