Answer:

D

Explanation:

•The unit of time is Second (sec) it is correct

•The time period of a given pendulum is constant because it depends on the length of the pendulum.

•And two cities are measured in kilometers

It’s D the time period within pendulums are constant, distance is always measured with kilometers within cities and basic unit is always seconds.

A proton is released from rest at the positive plate of a parallelplatecapacitor. It crosses the capacitor and reaches the negat
Triss [41]

Answer:

2.1406 ×10^6 m/sec

Explanation:

we know that energy is always conserved

so from the law of energy conservation

qV=\frac{1}{2}mv^2

here V is the potential difference

we know that mass of proton = 1.67×10^{-27} kg

we have given speed =50000m/sec

so potential difference V=\frac{\frac{1}{2}\times 1.67\times 10^{-27}50000^2}{1.6\times 10^{-19}}=13.045

now mass of electron =9.11×10^{-31}

so for electron

\frac{1}{2}\times 9.11\times 10^{-31}v^2=1.6\times 10^{-19}\times 13.045=2.1406\times 10^6 m/sec

so the velocity of electron will be 2.1406×10^6 m/sec

By quadrupling the mass of the body hanging on the thread what will become the period of oscillation?
nikklg [1K]

Well, the tension in the thread will probably quadruple, but the hanging body will continue to just hang there.

The question gives us no evidence that it is doing any oscillating, and there's no reason for it to start just because it suddenly got heavier.

e-lub [12.9K]

I do not understand the full question, however if you are wondering which way Simone and the dog will go, they will go right because the force of 34 N from the dog is higher than the force of 16 N from Simone.

You are on a Parkour course. First you climb a angled wall up 9.5 meters. They you shimmy along the edge of a 3.5 meter long wal
makvit [3.9K]

Average speed = (total distance covered) / (time to cover the distance)

Total distance covered = (9.5m + 3.5m + 15m) = 28 meters

Time to cover the distance = 43 seconds

Average speed = (28 meters) / (43 seconds)

Average speed = 0.65 meters/second
