It is reasonable because the ripples in the rock show how old and how fast the water went to make the rock. It also describes the time that it has been there, depending on how many years ago it was.

because water and mud behaved in a similar way in the past as they do today (SI)

It takes a soccer player 3 seconds so reduce his speed to 3.1 m/s. What is the magnitude of his acceleration?
Volgvan
Acceleration =change in velocity/change in time.
So final speed minus initial velocity/time
3.1-v/2=a

Metals are usually more dense than wood. Pick the statement below which accurately compares metals to wood. Metals have less mas
laila [671]

Answer:

Metals have more mass per unit of volume than wood.

Explanation:

Density is defined as the amount of matter contained in a unit of volume. A material that is denser than another will therefore have more mass per unit of volume.

The density of a body can affect buoyancy, bodies with low enough densities can float in fluids. For example wood can float in water while metals can't.

Two fans are watching a baseball game from different positions. One fan is located directly behind home plate, 18.3 mfrom the ba
hjlf

Answer:

Δt = 0.315s

Explanation:

To calculate the time difference, in which both fans hear the batterstrike, you first calculate the time which takes the sound to travel the distances to both fans:

t_1=\frac{d_1}{v_s}

t_2=\frac{d_2}{v_s}

d1: distance to the first fan = 18.3 m

d2: distance to the second fan = 127 m

vs: speed of sound = 345 m/s

You replace the values of the parameters to calculate t1 and t2:

t_1=\frac{18.3m}{345m/s}=0.053s\\\\t_2=\frac{127m}{345m/s}=0.368s

The difference in time will be:

\Delta t =t_2-t_2=0.368s-0.053s=0.315s

Hence, the time difference between hearing the sound at the location s of both fans is 0.315s

a boy Held a book of weight 50 newton’s in his fully outstretched hand, at a distance of 50 cm away calculate the moment of forc
miss Akunina [59]

Answer:

the moment of force is 25 Nm.

Explanation:

Given;

weight of the book, F = 50 N

distance through which his hand was stretched, d = 50 cm = 0.5 m

The moment of force is calculated as;

moment of force = F x r

moment of force = 50 N x 0.5 m

moment of force = 25 Nm

Therefore, the moment of force is 25 Nm.
