\frac{4x}{\sqrt{9x+8}}

to rationalise we multiply both numerator and denominator by \sqrt{9x+8}

So we do

\frac{4x}{\sqrt{9x+8}} * \frac{\sqrt{9x+8}}{\sqrt{9x+8}}

=\frac{4x(\sqrt{9x+8})}{9x+8}

As it cannot be simplified anymore so this is the final answer

\frac{4x(\sqrt{9x+8})}{9x+8}

Consider the tables created using an initial investment of $1,000 and quarterly compounding of interest.
NNADVOKAT [17]

Option fourth "The functions are not inverses because, for each ordered pair (x, y) for one function, there is no corresponding ordered pair (y, x) for the other function." is correct.

<h3>What is a function?</h3>

It is defined as a special type of relationship, and they have a predefined domain and range according to the function every value in the domain is related to exactly one value in the range.

The question is incomplete.

The complete question is in the picture, please refer to the attached picture.

We have two tables shown in the picture.

Table (A) have values of x and a(x)

Table (B) have values of d and r(d)

As we know if the function has an inverse of it and (x, y) satisfies the function then (y, x) must satisfy the inverse of a function.

Thus, the option fourth "The functions are not inverses because, for each ordered pair (x, y) for one function, there is no corresponding ordered pair (y, x) for the other function." is correct.

A sports club has 21 basketball players. If 12% of the total number of members in the club are basketball players, what is the t
kramer

Answer:

d 175

Step-by-step explanation:

So we know that there are 21 players out of a total amount of people in a club who play basketball. So lets say the total amount of people who are in the club is x then we do

\frac{21}{100} *x=21

we got the \frac{21}{100} becasue any percent is over 100 and that time the total ammount is 21 which is the number of people.

Then we solve and we have to isolate the x

x=21*\frac{100}{12}

then we cross cancle and we get x=175

so the answer is d

Thank you :)
