No. A repeating decimal is when it is a repeated number. For example, 0.633333333333 is a repeated decimal.

First we observe pattern here. The pattern is one  number "1" and one number "2" than two numbers "1" and two numbers "2" and so on. Every next array of numbers 1 and 2 will have one extra member.
Because of this, 0.121122111222... isn't repeating decimal. Repeating decimal has some number of decimals that keep repeating. For example if we had:0.121122  121122  121122 ... this would be repeating decimal because 121122 segment keeps repeating.
In your task you can't find a segment that keeps repeating.
hope this helps

stealth61 [152]

Answer:

\large\boxed{t=\dfrac{11}{21}}

Step-by-step explanation:

\dfrac{3}{7}+t=\dfrac{20}{21}\qquad\text{subtract}\ \dfrac{3}{7}\ \text{from both sides}\\\\\dfrac{3}{7}-\dfrac{3}{7}+t=\dfrac{20}{21}-\dfrac{3}{7}\qquad\text{LCD(7, 21)=21}\\\\t=\dfrac{20}{21}-\dfrac{3\cdot3}{7\cdot3}\\\\t=\dfrac{20}{21}-\dfrac{9}{21}\\\\t=\dfrac{20-9}{21}\\\\t=\dfrac{11}{21}

Sketch a graph of −3x+y=2
DIA [1.3K]
You can do this by first finding the y intercept which is the point where x = 0

-3(0) + y = 2
so  y intercept is the point (0,2)

Now find the x intercept by putting y = 0

-3x = 2

x = -2/3

So we have 2 points  (-2/3, 0) and (0,2)  Draw a line through these 2 points and you have the required graph.

Grace is three times as old as Hans, but in 5 years she will be twice as old as Hans is then. How old are they now? Set up an th
frosja888 [35]

Answer:

3x - y = 0; 2x - y = -5

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x be the present age of Hans and y be the present age of Grace,

Since, in present Grace is three times as old as Hans,

⇒ y = 3x

⇒ 3x - y = 0

Now, after 5 years,

The age of Hans = x + 5,

And, the age of Grace = y + 5

Also, in 5 years Grace will be twice as old as Hans is then,

⇒ y + 5 = 2 ( x + 5 )

⇒ y + 5 = 2x + 10

⇒ 2x - y = -5

Hence, the required system of linear equations is,

3x - y = 0; 2x - y = -5
