The answer is 25/100 because if you convert the fraction into a decimal you will get 0.25 hundredths.So you do the same to 2/10 and you will get 0.2 tenths.Since 0.2 is in the the tenths it means it is really 0.20 hundredths if you were to convert it to hundredths and 0.25 is more than 0.2.So she did more math problems on Monday than on Tuesday.

If there are 40 boys and 60 girls in a room, fill out all of the possible ratios of boys to girls that could be made.
galina1969 [7]

40+60=100. So one person equals 1%, meaning 40% are boys and 60% are girls. By simplifying, we will find that possible ratios below the value of 100 are 40:60, 4:6, 2:3, and 20:30.

Write a parallel and perpendicular equation that passes through the point (6,-2)?
Reptile [31]

Answer:

y=x-8 and y=-x+4

Step-by-step explanation:

The slopes of the lines can be anything, as long as they are the opposite reciprocals of each other. Then you can plug in the point for x and y to solve for b in both lines (for y=mx+b where m is the slope)

Let f(x)=x^2+5x-8. What is the average rate of change from x = 2 to x = 6? Enter the answer in the box ___
koban [17]

Answer:

13

Step-by-step explanation:

The average rate of change of f(x) in the closed interval [ a, b ] is

\frac{f(b)-f(a)}{b-a}

Here [ a, b ] = [2, 6 ]

f(b) = f(6) = 6² + 5(6) - 8 = 36 + 30 - 8 = 58

f(a) = f(2) = 2² + 5(2) - 8 = 4 + 10 - 8 = 6

Hence

average rate of change = \frac{58-6}{6-2} = \frac{52}{4} = 13

Just question 1 please!!!!!
Anastaziya [24]

Answer:

see below

Step-by-step explanation:

by rewriting the function we can see that it has a minimum at

y=7x^2+7x-7\Rightarrow y=7(x^2+x-1)\Rightarrow y=7[(x+\frac{1}{2})^2-\frac{1}{4}-1]\Rightarrow

y=7[(x+\frac{1}{2})^2-\frac{5}{4}]\Rightarrow minimum \ (-\frac{1}{2}, -\frac{35}{4})

bye.
