If all 3 angles of a Triangle MUST equal 180°, then we know that we use the equation (for this triangle) to find the angle measurements as (180-90)/2 which means we are dividing 90/2 which is 45° for each angle. But these angles are different measures, so we have to guess upon this and say that YOUR ANSWER IS D

Peggy had three times as many quarters as nickels. She had $1.60 in all. How many nickels and how many quarters did she have?. .
Andru [333]

Let

n-------> the number of nickels

q------> the number of quarters

we know that

1\ quarter=\$0.25\\1\ nickel=\$0.05

so

0.05n+0.25q=1.60 ----> equation A

q=3n ----> equation B

substitute equation B in equation A

0.05n+0.25[3n]=1.60

0.05n+0.75n=1.60

0.80n=1.60

n=2

Find the value of q

q=3*2=6

therefore

The answer part a) is

the number of nickels are 2 and the number of quarters are 6

the answer Part b) is

The expressions that represents the number of quarters is

q=3n

Modulation is the process of a)Spinning a wheel to generate a sine wave b)Increasing the amplitude of a sine wave c)Changing one
hram777 [196]

Answer: C) Changing one or more properties of a sine wave in response to data.

Step-by-step explanation:

Modulation is primarily used in telecommunications sector. It the process by which data is transmitted via electrical signals. It is the process of imposing an input signal on to a wave carrier. It is the pillar of data communication that enables the use information carriers of signals that are electrical and optical. Altering the carrier/ periodic waveform results in Modulation. The amplitude frequency and phase are conveyed. There are different types of Modulation which includes: amplitude Modulation, frequency Modulation, and phase Modulation.

Help me on problem 4 !!!!I WILL GIVE BRAINLIEST!!!!!
Aleksandr-060686 [28]

Answer:

b=12.20

Step-by-step explanation:

its asking for a triangle. there are two legs (the straight sides) and a hypotenuse*.( the slanted one) the formula for finding a missing side is a2+b2=c2. (squared) then you plug in your numbers. and c2 is always the slanted side while a and b are the legs. Sorry this was late tho.

On a test, mean score was 70 and the standard deviation of the scores was 15. What percent of the test takers scored above 80
Anna007 [38]

Answer:

25%.

Step-by-step explanation:

When calculating percentile of a value within a sample population, you'll want to use what's called the z-score formula, notated as such:

z = (x – μ) / σ

Or, the z-score equals the difference of the x-value minus the mean (μ), divided by the standard deviation (σ). We can use the equation to sub in our numbers:

z=\frac{80-70}{15}\\z=\frac{10}{15}\\\\z=\frac{2}{3} \\z=0.667

Since we are looking for scores above 80, what we want to find is the area under the normal distribution curve that is to the right of our value of 80, or the pink area illustrated in the attached picture.

For this, we can use the standard Z table to look up our z-score and find what percent of our chart we've filled, to the left of our value. You can find Z tables in algebra textbooks or online, like this one: http://www.z-table.com/

In this instance, our z-score gives us a resulting Z table percentile between .7454 (z-score of 0.66) and .7486 (z-score of 0.67). This means that, in our normal distribution with a mean of 70 and a standard deviation of 15, the area to the left of the value of 80 is about 74.6%.

So, now we know that our value of 80 makes up about 74.6% of our curve from the left. To find the area to the right, we just subtract from the total area, which is 1 in a normally distributed curve. This gives us 25.4%. Since we're looking for the percent of test takes scoring above our value, I'll round that down to 25%.
