Answer:
They accurately compare the current atmosphere with the previous one, by assessing the amount of atmospheric gases present today, with the amount of atmospheric gases trapped in ice cores that they believe are millennial, that is, they have existed for thousands of years ago.
Explanation:
As we know, it is difficult to compare current characteristics of the planet earth with characteristics that the planet had in the past, thousands of years ago. This is because the ancient characteristics on earth are not fully available to be analyzed, since most of them have been modified over time.
To do this, scientists need to find factors that may have existed thousands of years ago and assess whether these factors have any account of the characteristics of the earth. In the case of atmospheric characteristics, it is common for scientists to compare the current atmosphere with the atmosphere of thousands of years ago, with the assessment of the amount of atmospheric gases trapped in ancient ice cores, with the amount of atmospheric gases present in the atmosphere today.
Answer:
23%
Explanation:
The maximum number of individuals of a population that a particular ecosystem can hold is known as the carrying capacity of that particular population.
As the reptiles living in the ecosystems, without the mammal species, had to compete less, hence there carrying capacity was more in such areas.
There s a difference of 23% in the carrying capacity fir reptiles in the areas where the particular species of mammals were present.
240+ 150= 390
240-150= 90
90 divided by 390 and then multiplied by 100 gives 23%.
Answer:
Solar energy is converted into chemical during the process of photosynthesis.
Explanation:
Photosynthesis is a process in which solar energy is converted into chemical energy i. e. glucose. In photosynthesis, carbondioxide enters into a leaf from small opening called stomata and water is absorbed by the plant from the soil in the presence of sunlight produces glucose and oxygen. Oxygen is released in the atmosphere while glucose is stored in different parts of plant i. e. roots and stem etc.
A mutation that causes resistance in a population of beetles is an example of b. microevolution. By definition, micro-evolution is a change in a species over a period of time while macro-evolution is a change in the whole taxonomic group.
The two main continuous sources of stress in my life are :
1: To excel in exams in best grades in class
2: The insufficient time i think i have for the great preparation of exams
When we talk about problem solving mechanisms, they are two. The first one is problem-focused solving in which we try our best to eliminate the source of stress from our life. The second one is emotion-focused solving in which we cope with the problems that cannot be eliminated.
Solution in my cases:
Being a topper of the class i am always expected to perform best by my family and friend and somehow it is my own main desire too. However, with the rising level of study competition in our society the pressure to perform best is becoming more like a continuous stress for me.
I used one technique from emotion-focused coping to cope with both of these two stresses i mentioned.
This technique is called Practicing discipline
Since i have a time management issue where i cannot give enough time to each course i have made a disciplined habit to follow the schedule i make. This schedule forces me to give some hours to each subject and when the alarm rings even if there is work remaining from one course i shut it down and start the second course. In this way mostly i keep the time factor in my mind and eliminate all distracting thoughts from my mind and complete each course' work in the definite time period i have assigned in schedule. This way my both stresses get relatively low.
Hope it helps!
